The charm of staying in a building over 300 years old was undeniable, with its historic character providing a unique atmosphere. The restaurant's Thai dishes added a flavorful twist to the experience, making me wish I could sample them all during my short stay.
The check-in process faced complications, mainly due to an inconsistent communication about arrival times. The double room listed as having a private bathroom turned out to be non-ensuite, a detail that only came to light after arrival, leading to an hour-long dispute. Street noise could be heard in the evening, which may disturb light sleepers, and the lack of a breakfast option meant planning around early departures was necessary. while the building holds historical significance, creaking floors and the appearance of cheap decor did detract from the overall experience.
